Wayter are a London based band, and together they write songs. The Band is Oscar Hidalgo from Spain on Drums, Mitchy from Japan on Bass, Eddie Halliday from Devon on Vocals & Guitar, and Juan Piola from Argentina on Guitar. If you listen to the songs you will tell for yourself. They make a rich sound, and stand apart from other bands because they are so straightforward and naked.

They formed in June last year. Since then they’ve also taken their instruments to places like music venue’s by means of the bus, underground train or van, to play their songs to strangers and friends . Some of whom smile and clap their hands while others mention intensity and loudness, the latter they can feel too, and neither of which they have any control of.

In June the band drove all their gear to an isolated wooden village Hall in the middle of Dartmoor. During the day the drums were taken by the wind through the hills to neighboring villages, and at night eddie’s singing entertained the local animals. They plugged some leads into a box, then into other boxes, all with lights that shine nice in the dark. And they put their music down the leads until the box sounded almost like them. They put four songs in the box and the box had a baby called the Marco Polo EP. They closed the box and headed back to London. They will take care and breed the baby and hopefully he will have a life and grow up and develop to be a good person.

Thanks for Listening
